During Childhood, She wanted to be a Football and make Carrier in it. She used to play Football with the Boys in Jawahar Navodaya Vidhyalaya. Being a girl, she was so energetic and enthusiastic about Games at School Playground. In-School, her Physical Teacher Shamsul Hoque was very impressed by her efforts and Enthusiastic for Games. Seeing this, Under the Influence of her Physical Education Teacher, She began Following Athlete. She Choose Sprinter (Running) and make Carrier on it. For this, She would Daily practice too much to strengthen more and more to increase stamina. She participated in many competitions held in the city and also won Medals. Her School Physical Teacher Shamsul Hoque introduced her to Gowri Shankar Roy. Gowri Shankar Roy who was the Coach of Nagaon Sports Association. Hima Das was trying for the opportunity and a Chance to enter for State Championship.
Being Patience for the Opportunity, she got Chance to participate in Guwahati Assam for State Championship. Here, she performed so well and got a chance for Junior National Championship but failed to get a Medal in the Final. This made him go down and she was too demotivated. But, Due to Hima Das performance in the Competition. Later she Meet with the Coach Nippon Das being Directorate of Sports and Youth Welfare. Her Coach convinced her Parents for Hima Das For Training and they also agreed with the Coach.
Hima Das Coach Nippon Das made her motivated. From this her struggling days started as Hina Das had to daily travel Distance of 40 Km from Bus. She returned home on the same day after practicing at 11 Pm Night. Hima Parents seemed too undesired and strange at Nights. So, Hima Coach arranged a room near Sports Complex for staying by Local Doctor.
During her training, it was tough life from where Hima Belonged. During her training, she needed shoes but she never told that to her Parents. She kneed that it will be too difficult for her parents to buy for her. But his father somehow collected money and bought her Rs 1200/- Adidas shoes to better practice for games.
Hima Das Parents were too Supportive. In 2018 Commonwealth Games in Australia was organized. At this time only, her Board Exams Date was out. So, she Left the Exam and went to Games to play in Australia. So, her parents were all supportive here also. In July 2018 Finland Twenty Championship was organised. Here, She won Gold Medal for the 400 m Race. Next year when she appeared for the exam, she passed with First Division in 2019. So, this was the Success Story of Hima Das.
