Super-Fast Internet Speeds, Glitch-Free Multiplayer Video Gaming Experience and Many More Perks

The upcoming 5G rollout in India which will soon revolutionize the country’s telecom sector is bringing excitement to many industries that will benefit from the enhanced connectivity. Online gaming is among the activities that will be boosted in the greatest way by the numerous perks 5G offers, including super-fast download and upload speeds, glitch-free multiplayer video gaming experience, seamless live streaming and real-time gaming, and the freedom of better cloud-based gaming.

No wonder that the broadening of technological horizons and the enhancement of the user experience promised by 5G are eagerly awaited by all fervent gamers ranging from fans of casino app real money games to esport enthusiasts.

On the industry front, India’s major telecom operators including Bharti Airtel, Reliance Jio, Vodafone Idea (Vi), and a company from the Adani Group have entered the race for the upcoming 5G spectrum auctions in a determination to get a decent share of this exciting market of the future.

Live-Dealer Casino Games will Get a New Boost

For a true casino gaming fan, the entertainment provided by online Teen Patti for real money is quite enhanced when played with a live dealer instead of a simple RNG (random number generator) version. Such live-dealer games provide an immersive experience resembling walking down an actual casino floor coupled with the opportunity to interact with the other players. Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality (VR and AR) can bring a new dimension to live-dealer gaming, and the superior parameters of 5G connectivity will give a new boost to all of that.

A recent study on Online Casino Trends in Modern India reveals that live-dealer versions of popular games have already assumed a dominant position among desi gaming preferences. All games in the Top 30 chart based on gross turnover with the exception of slots and one classic roulette title feature a live dealer.

“Both Western and Indian-born games are preferred with a live dealer over a simple virtual layout. Mainstream popularity made casinos part of the gaming culture in India decades ago. Nowadays, players enjoy a setup that brings the spirit of a gambling hall into the palm of their hand,” industry researcher Svilen Madjov, author of the study, observes.

Video Games, Esports and Heavy Games will Undergo a 5G Revolution

Besides immersive live-dealer high definition video and VR/AR gaming, all video game and esport titles, especially those that require ultra big downloads, will undergo an actual revolution with the rollout of 5G networking.

"5G is powering new possibilities for professional players by maintaining a stable internet connection which is crucial. With a raw speed that is much higher than that of 4G, players can experience a smooth and uninterrupted playtime,” commented Lokesh Suji, director of the Esports Federation of India and Vice President of the Asian Esports Federation (AESF).

“With faster speed and improved latency, gamers will get a more competitive edge and will catapult the billion-dollar industry of esports” Suji added.

When it comes to games that require updates measured in gigabytes, 5G connectivity can secure incredibly fast downloads, or even better - cloud-based gaming with no compromise of the quality of user experience while saving tons of space on the player’s smartphone, computer or console.

5G connectivity will stir the whole gaming ecosystem as “it will also offer gamers, easy access to newer and more unique experiences like AR and VR. Faster internet speed and reliable connection will encourage game developers, designers, and storytellers to work on grander, more complex, and engrossing stories. This freedom will result in more quality content with time," said Vishwalok Nath, director of the Esports Premier League (ESPL).

Technology innovations such as VR and AR will go hand in hand with 5G rollout and adoption bringing the metaverse even closer.

"The upcoming metaverse, and all virtual reality technology that again would completely elevate the gaming experience, would be facilitated in large parts by 5G. One of the reasons why gaming has become so popular in the last few years is the multiplayer & social experience that games are now able to provide, and 5G is expected to make that even smoother. To be honest, 5G will impact gaming in more ways than one," explained Animesh Agarwal, a former esports athlete and founder and CEO of gaming talent management agency 8bit Creatives.
